  As mentioned, Bigham Farm is located in the northeast-quadrant of Parmer County, being approximately 2 miles south and 4 miles east of Friona, Texas.  Access is good, being by graded CR 23 on the west and graded CR 24 on the east.

  The North-half (N/2) of Section 24, T-4-S, R-4-E, Parmer County, Texas. 

General Description

  This is a productive partially irrigated farm in an excellent state of cultivation.  A seven (7) tower Zimmatic pivot is located on the west-half of the farm that irrigates 120 acres, more or less.  The remaining cultivated acres are operated on a dryland basis. 

  The overall terrain varies from nearly level to gently sloping, with the west-half of the farm being basically level and the east-half sloping gently to the east to a playa lake located on the adjoining property.  Slopes across this farm range from 0-3%.

Improvements

  Improvements include an older seven (7) tower Zimmatic center pivot irrigation system and two (2) irrigation wells.  The pivot system is approximately 1,280 feet long and is in good condition for its age.  This pivot is nozzled at 200 gallons per minute.   According to conversations with the tenant farmer, these wells produce a combined total of approximately 200 g.p.m.
