Pinon, juniper and Ponderosa Pine provide cover throughout the rolling foothills adjacent to the lower valley meadows.
The ranch owns extraordinary, extremely valuable water rights which are used to irrigate a major portion of the property. Access to the ranch is by paved highway frontage.
Elk and mule deer are drawn to the irrigated meadows and it is not uncommon to view upwards of fifty elk in the fields at any given time. The ranch receives several elk permits each year, but the ranch has not been hunted in several years.
