Dark Canyon Ranch

The Dark Canyon Ranch is located between Carlsbad Caverns National Park and Carlsbad in Eddy County, New Mexico.

The ranch has a very diverse terrain with elevations ranging from 3,300 to 3,400 feet in the lower flats to over 4,000 feet in the upper mesa country. The northeast portion of the property has a fairly level to gently sloping terrain with wide flats draining to two major draws. To the west and south of the flats, the terrain is first hilly and then becomes more mountainous with rocky lime-stone ridges and rugged side slopes elevating to mesa and divide top country.
