This property is located on the east-central side of Hockley County, being less than .5 of a mile west of the Lubbock County Line and approximately 2 miles west of Reese Air Force Base. The exact location is as follows: from the intersection of FM 179 and US Hwy 114, travel 4 miles west. Turn north on FM 2378 and go 2.6 miles to an easement. Turn west on the easement and travel .5 of a mile to the east-central side of the property.
Currently, 181.72 acres are currently enrolled in the Conservation Reserve Program. This land is receiving an annual payment of $7,656 ($42.13/ac.), with the last payment being in 2026. The remaining 40.66 acres remain in native pasture and in the floor of a playa lake.
